One of the most difficult decisions to make when deciding to go to a Trade Shows is to determine what you are actually going to display. Assume you have it booked, staff are well trained and presented, you know your customers, the Trade Show has a great history and attracts large crowd and you have great products.
So what will let you down? The answer is easy and often forgotten with companies presenting. Its their Displays. Remember there might be hundreds of other companies on display so you need to stand out. You know you have the best products but does the crowd? If you havent invested money in professional looking Exhibition stand products then its possible you may have wasted your time altogether.
You don’t have to have the most dazzling booth on the trade show floor, you obviously have to do with whatever your budget is. But you do need to let the passing traffic what you are selling. Remember you usually have only 3 seconds to attract a customers attention. So consider display products such a retractable banners which are easy to set up, pop up displays which can be as big as 3 metres wide but are eyecatching. If you have photos and poster then a Display Board might be ideal for this.
Whatever your Budget try to aim for quality and pay a little bit more. Not only will it last longer anyway but it will give your company a more polished and professional look. There is nothing worse than displays that are poorly printed, etc some retractable banners bend like a “banana”. Look for high quality polypropylene blockout material. This means if you put your sign against a window with the sun coming in, that you wont be able to see thru the banner to the other side.
Another tip is to give yourself some time before you have to display. Unfortunately so many businesses leave it to the last minute, leaving no chance for error and choosing displays that you might later regret. Consider the cost of exhibiting at a Trade Show, so it can be very wasteful financially if you give yourself no time to prepare.
